Rowing and canoeing game of Hunan Provincial Sports Meeting was opened in Zixing city

It was reported that the rowing and canoeing game of 12th Hunan Provincial Sports Meeting was opened on August 12, 2014 in the Aquatic Sports Center of Zixing city. Chenzhou delegation won the first gold medal of this game. Xiong Ni- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Sports Bureau and champion of diving attended the opening ceremony of the game.

Hunan Provincial Sports Meeting is the top level and largest scale sports event of Hunan province, which is held every four years. Rowing and canoeing game is one of the most important games of the sports meeting. It was learned that the rowing and canoeing game would last for August 18, 2014. 0ver 300 athletes of 24 delegations from 12 cities and autonomous prefectures would fight for more than 60 gold medals in the following one week.

After the brief opening ceremony, the athletes started their game. He Xinghui and Liao Wenjie who was from Zixing city won 6000meters pair-oars game after intense competition. That was the first gold medal of this game.
